Lost Souls Apparel, workouts, freelance and rest. I'm really a people person I swear!

At the marina

After last night's debauchery, compliments of everyone else on the boat, while I sat to the side feeling like a piece of crap, I am happy to say that I woke this morning feeling slightly better. Perhaps the lack of alcohol helped, in addition to drinking a ton of tea and holding off from straining my vocal chords by talking nonstop all night.

Got a ton of painting done on the boat but fortunately for me, today was my day off to recover and rest. I have taken the day to sew a couple of fabric scraps cut from my kerchief to use as patches on my denim button-up. Gotta keep it fresh for the ladies. That was a nice casual sit-down at the cafe down the block, and then proceeded to hit up a park where I got a majority of my freelance work situated now that I have the final go-ahead on the ebook mock-up I sent the company. From there it’ll be a day or so more of revisions and email to finalize the thing. Hoping to finish before setting out on the boat so I won’t have to deal with straining for a signal out at sea. Any other time while traveling I’d be fine with juggling around for a signal for the sake of work, but out on the water is a complete different story compared to traveling over land. Am I lazy? Hell no. Just realistic. Cut me a break people! Joking. The reference I am getting at is below for any slowpokes out there. (Hint: watch the clip.)

"I’m a people person! I’m GOOD at dealing with PEOPLE! Can’t you understand that?! What the hell’s wrong with you people!?”

In the meantime, with all of the boat goings on, I happened to meet a rad chick who is in the business of apparel. Similar to my good buddies from back in Denver who I have helped, Makeamill Couture, this girl has a unique eye for urban apparel trends. Click the photo below or visit shoplostsouls.co.uk. Enjoy all of its gritty, in-your-face splendor.

Lastly, had to post yesterday's workout since I never made it to the comp to post this. I took today off in order to rest and recoup but will be back at it soon enough. Life doesn't wait.

Just some reference for you. A stab freeze is a Bboy move. This movement is performed to gain the strength necessary to flow with greater ease and to gain the ability of practicing more advanced movements. While in a low pushup position with wide legs, you begin by alternating your stab freeze on either side of your abdomen and reaching your opposite arm out to touch the floor ahead. Hope that makes sense. Peace.

Daily workout:

20 minute run (60% race pace)
12 pull ups
20 stab freeze touches
